Innovative Practical AffordableWhat sets us apart?
Our products are precision machined to a tolerance of .005” using a state of the art CNC milling machine. Many of our competitors use nothing more than band saws, grinders and drill presses to fabricate their products. They may look OK to the naked eye, but they are not precision. We also bolt our products together rather than weld. This is advantageous in several ways. Foremost it is the most precise process. It also allows you to break our products down for easier traveling as well as give you the freedom to easily make modifications that are sometimes needed to get that “shot”. All of our wheel assemblies are fabricated using aircraft strength 6061 aluminum. This helps keep the weight down as much as possible while still providing the strength to do the job. We also offer a full money back guarantee on all of our products insuring your 100% satisfaction.
FAQ’s
Why don't you weld your products like some manufacturers?
Manufacturers who weld probably don’t have a CNC milling machine. Welders cost much less and most people have one in their garage. Some may claim welding is a better practice, but we respectfully disagree. It’s simply an easy way to get around drilling a hole on the precipice of a piece of angle, a task that’s extremely difficult without a milling machine. We choose to bolt our products together because we think that’s the best way. In our shop we do have the capability of welding just about any material, of any shape or size. If you like one of our products, but would rather see it welded just let us know and we can do that for you at no additional cost.
Why is MollyMFG a little more pricey than similar looking items? What’s the difference?
Quality Quality Quality! Our parts are machined with a state of the art CNC milling machine in a professional shop and adhere to a strict quality control process. We also use quality hardware to assemble our products. For instance most of our competitors use regular, everyday grade 5 bolts for the wheel axels. We use the real thing. Hardened axel bolts! They are much more expensive, but much stronger and are made to handle the load over long periods of time without bending. An important factor considering the axel is where most of the radial and axial load is applied. We take the extra steps required to make our products professional grade, while at the same time omitting the steps that do not increase functionality. This allows are customer to get a quality product at an affordable price. We are, however, intent on keeping our customers happy so if you would like the Cadillac version of any of our products (i.e. Satin finished stainless steel plates and angle along with stainless steel hardware etc. etc.) just let us know. We can also fabricate just about anything to your own specs at an affordable price. Just submit your info on our custom machining page and we'll promptly get back to you with a quote!
