The Smooth Pro dolly is a necessary component of any filmmakers arsenal. It's exactly what you need to get that smooth, professional shot. The deck is made from extra sturdy 3/4" birch for maximum strength and rigidity. In the center is an eye bolt which can be used to secure your tripod and camera by simply using an everyday bungee cord. The frame is made from "precision machined" 1/8" thick aluminum angle. Precision machined means the holes line up within .005" of each other. The holes are threaded to insure the axle seats dead center and then we add a locking nut for maximum strength and rigidity. This is absolutely essential to insure that all eight wheels not only rest on the track, but that the weight is distributed equally. This aspect is what separates the Smooth Pro dolly from the imitations. If your dolly wobbles on the track or develops flat spots on the wheels it makes it utterly pointless. The axles are fitted with high quality urethane wheels and twin cam bearings for additional strength, smoothness and silent operation.
